Sitting on the side of the interstate in my brokedown truck for the last few hours has reinforced my depths of patience and love of my MyFi device and LTE service.
Regularly check your serpentine belt, folks.

So sorry Sam!
It’s kind of fun in a stockholm syndrome way. Has made for fun conversation starters on the phone with clients today at least! It’s amazing that I can pretty much run my business from the side of the road. Making me ponder opening a hammock branch in the SC sea islands this summer…
And such an easy fix. 5 minutes to swap belts. 15 if you don’t know what you are doing.
For sure, Brad. Was worried about idler pulley or something have seized up BC it happened so suddenly with no warning. Dad is coming to bail me out with his rollback so we’ll have a fun project this week!
I think it took the 3/8 wrench with no socket. Might have been the 1/2 inch. Follow the diagram to get the belt in place. Just stick an extension on the wrench and into the tensioner, pull the wrench to make room, and thread the new belt on over it.
Fantastic… thanks so much!
Yuck!!!! Glad you have something to do. I don’t have much patience for waiting. One reason I love my phone!!! Hooray for Terry!! Take care!
…. And please be careful on the side of the interstate!!!!!!
